July 13, 2016

After starting the month off 3-2, the Rally Factory Rock Hounds took a short break that may have re-energized the bunch. Sophomore Joey Dodson led the way finishing 6 for 6 with two doubles and 4 RBI in the contest. Sophomores Kirby Broadbent and Tyler Stover drove in 4 runs each as well. Seven Hounds drove in multiple runs, and nine hitters combined for 13 extra base hits.

Junior right-handers Dustin Labit and Jackson Gentes combined to pitch 7 innings, with Gentes earning the win. Wyatt McCampbell and Jae Wagner each threw a scoreless inning, striking out 3 batters between them.

The Rock Hounds continue their five game homestand on Saturday, where they host the Reno Astros in a 12pm double header. Sunday they host defending CCL Champion Neptune Beach Pearl, in a 12pm double header as well. Starting pitchers are TBA.
